Dental Receptionist and Insurance Coordinator

Hi! Welcome to Kindred Dentistry . We are a private general dentistry start-up practice looking for a receptionist to join our team!

As a Receptionist , your main duty is to ensure that patients feel welcome and comfortable when they come to the office. This includes assisting them over the phone or in person to schedule their appointments and greeting them with a professional, friendly, and hospitable attitude. You play an important role in connecting with patients and making them feel at ease.

As an Insurance Coordinator, your duties are:

• Verify and update patient insurance information.
• Work closely with patients to explain insurance benefits and coverage.
• Process insurance claims and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Familiarity with dental CDT codes and experience working with PPO insurances.
• Address and resolve insurance-related inquiries and concerns.

Preferred

• High School Diploma or general education degree required
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
• Prior dental office work experience
• Knowledge and experience with in Dentrix
• Well versed with dental terminology
• Knowledge of dental CDT codes and experience with PPO insurances

HIGHLY PREFERRED: Experience with Dental Assisting as well.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
