We’re excited to bring Mia’s Table to Sugar Land and are currently building our opening team ahead of our anticipated late June 2026 opening! At Mia’s Table, we believe great food brings people together. Known for our Southern comfort food, warm hospitality, and family-friendly atmosphere, Mia’s Table is more than just a restaurant — it’s a place where guests feel at home. As we prepare to open our newest location, we’re looking for hardworking, dependable, and motivated Kitchen Team Members who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering high-quality food with consistency and care. Whether you have experience on the grill, fryer, make-up line, prep, or are looking to grow your kitchen skills, we’re looking for team players who are ready to work hard, stay organized, and help create an exceptional guest experience from behind the scenes. What You’ll Do: As a Kitchen Team Member at Mia’s Table, you’ll play an important role in preparing fresh, high-quality food while helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking food according to Mia’s Table recipes and standards
- Operating kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, and prep equipment
- Setting up and stocking stations for daily service
- Following recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines consistently
- Assisting with food prep including chopping, portioning and ingredient preparation
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and workstations
- Properly storing, labeling, and rotating food products
- Assisting with inventory, restocking, and receiving deliveries
- Working with urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy during busy shifts
- Following all food safety, sanitation, and health department procedures
- Helping maintain a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects when needed
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Food Handler Certification required
