Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Rockwall, TX providing outpatient care where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new community. Prompt EMR will be used for documentation. Caseload averages 60-65 patients per week depending on schedule. Every patient has a tech almost all of the time.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient settings preferred. New graduates will be considered; preference given to clinicians with outpatient experience.
• Experience using Prompt EMR preferred.
• Experience managing caseloads up to 60+ patients per week preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with therapy techs or aides in clinic workflows.
• Comfort with 30-minute follow-up visits and 60-minute evaluations.
• Flexible scheduling experience, including 5x8 and 4x10 formats.

Assignment Details

• Schedule options include 7:00 start with end times around 6:00 or 7:00, Monday through Friday.
• Schedule flexibility available to accommodate 5x8 or 4x10 formats.
• Typical visit lengths: 30 minutes for follow-up visits and 60 minutes for evaluations.
