What You’ll Do

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full‑stack systems, creating solutions that meet regulatory needs and drive innovation.
• Share your passion for staying current on technology trends, experimenting with new tools, and mentoring other engineers, while actively participating in internal and external technology communities.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust, cloud‑based solutions that power great experiences for millions of Americans.
• Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, HTML/CSS, and work with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply).
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
• At least 2 years of people‑management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree.
• 7+ years of experience in at least one of JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
• 4+ years of experience in open‑source frameworks.
• 5+ years of people‑management experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
