Safety Coordinator

Saber Power Services seeks a Safety Coordinator to support our growing organization. The role will be based in our Rosharon, Texas office.

Position Summary:

Safety Coordinator will support the execution and continuous improvement of Saber’s safety programs and compliance systems. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safety data accuracy, supporting regulatory compliance, coordinating employee safety onboarding and training processes, and managing third-party safety consortium platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to promoting a culture of safety throughout all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and track monthly man-hour reporting and incident trend analysis.
  • Support field auditing programs to ensure safety standards are upheld.
  • Assist with the evaluation and onboarding of contractors and subcontractors for safety compliance.
  • Support the ongoing management of the company’s safety compliance program.
  • Coordinate the new employee safety onboarding process, including training assignments.
  • Manage client-required orientation safety training logistics.
  • Administer the company’s drug testing and background check programs.
  • Manage the Employee Driver Reporting program.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for entering and maintaining safety data in third-party systems (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, PEC, Veriforce).
  • Assist in developing and distributing Safety Alerts and Advisories.
  • Track and document incident investigations and corrective action follow-ups.
  • Support the planning and coordination of safety meetings and departmental updates.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining company Health & Safety programs and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date records in client safety consortium systems.
  • Actively promote a strong safety culture aligned with the company’s “Safety Above All Else” philosophy.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, or equivalent, is required.
  • Associates degree in Occupational Safety, Business Administration or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of two years’ administrative support experience required.
  • Prior experience in a Safety support, compliance, or program coordination role highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with third-party safety management platforms (ISNetworld, Avetta, PEC, Veriforce).
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations and general safety compliance principles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and safety data reporting tools.
  • Skills:
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
