MINIMUM 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH CNC MACHINE MAINTENANCE

Connect staffing is hiring a Maintenance Tool Technician for a drilling company in Houston, TX.

Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday - Friday 5:00 pm-5:30 am

Requirements for the CNC Maintenance Tool Technician:

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance technician experience working with CNC machines and manual lathes.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems to completion and repair Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems for CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, Mold Injection machines, Steam Boilers, Autoclaves, Spray Systems, Sandblasters, and various Forklifts up to 12,000 lb. carrying capacity.
• Experience with hydraulic systems, pumps or lifting equipment (e.g., forklifts, overhead cranes)
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Must be able to stand up to 12 hours
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Must supply the tools required to do the job.
• Prior experience in roles such as Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, CNC Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Maintenance Technician, Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, or CNC Repair Technician is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the CNC Maintenance Technician:

• Dismantles defective machines and equipment to detect malfunction.
• Makes emergency repairs to limit downtime and production delays.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment according to a Preventive Maintenance Schedule to ensure production schedules are met with properly functioning equipment.
• Keeps accurate records/logs of maintenance and other documents.
• Understands the proper use of power tools and pipe threading machines.
• Reads basic drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
