Job Overview:
- Responsible for validating the accuracy of products in totes (containers) before they are shipped to customers.
- Helps maintain an acceptable error rate for shipped orders.
- Contributes to measuring and improving outbound loading accuracy.
- Performing Audits: Conduct random audits of completed orders in totes, comparing the products in the tote to the order details to ensure accuracy.
- Error Correction: Ensure that any errors or discrepancies found during the audit are corrected before the order is shipped.
- Communication: Communicate improper product placement or other issues to relevant parties so that resolutions can be implemented.
- Error Reporting: When errors are discovered, notify the party responsible and obtain their acknowledgment.
- Reporting Audit Results: Submit daily audit results to the appropriate administration or management team.
- Tote Audits: Perform random tote audits of complete store orders to calculate error rates on a store basis.
- Re-auditing: Periodically re-audit previously audited information (like RGIS) to ensure the accuracy of error rates and the integrity of the auditing process.
- Other Duties: May be assigned other tasks as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies and irregularities in inventory.
- Warehouse Operations Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse processes and procedures.
- Reading and Interpretation Skills: Ability to read and interpret warehouse documents and reports.
- Basic Math Skills: Capability to perform simple math calculations.
- RF Equipment Proficiency: Ability to utilize RF (Radio Frequency) warehouse management equipment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various personnel.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- May be required to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry objects.
- Distributes invoice copies to appropriate teams when applicable.
- Accurately closes purchase orders in the proprietary store purchasing application.
- Adheres to and meets Receiving standards as outlined in Store Process
- Distributes copies of processed paperwork to appropriate departments
- Follows up with vendors regarding accounts payable.
- Supports product teams with accounting processes during inventory and financial period close.
