    This position is not a conventional teaching role. You will serve as a coach who supports gifted students in accelerating 5-10x using adaptive software and motivational techniques, rather than managing lesson plans or classrooms.     What You Will Be Doing

    • Create and facilitate dynamic, individualized phonics-based reading workshops for small groups of gifted K-2 learners
    • Leverage storytelling and interactive methods to produce learning acceleration 5-10x above conventional standards
    • Monitor student advancement and modify workshops immediately to address each cohort's specific needs
    • Provide individual and small group coaching sessions to generate measurable improvement in adaptive reading and writing applications

    Basic Requirements

    Learning Specialist key responsibilities

    • Available to work onsite at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance available)
    • Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable)
    • Minimum 2 years providing small-group reading interventions to K-2 learners
    • Background supporting gifted or high-ability students in specialized settings
    • Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and analyzing student performance metrics
    • Strong instructional presence with capacity to captivate young students through voice, narrative, and enthusiasm
    • Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship

    Working with us

    This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
