What You'll Do
- Purchases scrap metal materials in accordance with current market conditions based on pricing standards/models established by Company policy
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Develops the growth of business activities and profit with assigned accounts
- Maintains accurate records of all buying/sourcing and prospecting activities including closed sales and follow-up activities
What You'll Need
- 1-3 years business or operations experience (can include intern experience)
- Entry-level work experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and/or customer service is a plus
- Willingness to relocate at the end of the program if the next opportunity is at a different location
- Leadership skills in professional, educational, and/or social experiences
- Buying/selling skill and product knowledge
- Ability and willingness to work in all areas of the business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Sense of teamwork as well as independent initiative required
- Must be able to travel within assigned region and other areas as needed
- Must have effective listening and verbal skills to identify important information and to engage with internal and external customers
Your Education
- Bachelors degree preferred
