Restaurant Food Server Waitstaff

Job Title: Hotel Restaurant Server
Location: Holiday Inn Houston Westway Park, Houston, Texas
We are currently seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Restaurant Server to join our team at the Holiday Inn Houston Westway Park. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the restaurant
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or requests
- Clear and reset tables as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Assist with stocking and inventory management
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a server in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- TABC and Food Handler certifications required
