Cashier
Job Summary
The Fine Dining Cashier is responsible for accurately handling guest transactions, handling reservations and takeout orders, and ensuring a seamless and gracious check-out experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle guest payments with accuracy and efficiency using POS systems
- Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions
- Manage end-of-shift financial reports and balancing the cash drawer
- Coordinate with hosts and servers to ensure smooth guest transitions
- Handle takeout orders with precision and hospitality
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
- Assist with administrative or front-of-house tasks as needed
- Uphold the restaurant’s fine dining standards in appearance and conduct
- Previous cashier or customer service experience (fine dining or hospitality preferred)
- Strong math and communication skills
- Polished, professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, high-end environment
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
