Legal Assistant - Houston

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support our commercial litigation attorneys. This role is based in Houston with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and case support to litigation attorneys
- Manage calendars, deadlines, court dates, and travel
- Draft, format, and file legal documents (including e-filing)
- Handle client and third-party communications professionally
- Coordinate meetings, depositions, and case-related logistics
- Assist with billing, time entry, and expense reports
- Maintain organized files and strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; additional education preferred
- 3–5 years bankruptcy experience (ECF required)
- 2–3 years litigation experience in a law firm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and case management systems
- Strong typing, organization, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
