PRST is hiring a Journey-level Pipefitter to support a General Contractor on new build at a institutional facility in Houston. As a licensed plumber In this role, you'll enjoy weekly pay and health insurance benefits. Note: The hourly rate for this position is $35 - $45/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
- Work with PEX, PVC, and Copper Pinping for internal infrastructure piping, drainage, and vents
- Measure, cut, bevel, and align pipe according to specifications
- Tack piping in place as required
- Must have threading knowledge and comfortable using pipe threader
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- OSHA-10 Certification Required
- 4 years verifiable previous experience installing 18-Gauge stainless steel sheet metal ductwork
- Must be comfortable working out of manlifts and from rooftops
- Must be comfortable with fabricating 18-Gauge stainless steel sheet metal ductwork
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Position does require a drug screen
- Position does require a background check
