• Job Title: Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
• Location: Spartanburg, SC (South Carolina healthcare jobs)
• Position Type: Travel/Contract (Locum Tenens)
• Specialty: Endoscopy Nursing
• Facility Setting: Hospital-based Endoscopy Units (Church Street & Mary Black campuses)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 8, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts/week (07:00 - 15:30)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1920 - $1970
• On-call: 6-7 days per 6 weeks; late stay and weekend coverage as needed
• Scrubs: Provided by facility
• Charting System: EPIC
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (South Carolina or compact state; pending license accepted if obtained before start)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Endoscopy RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility (per travel nurse guidelines)
• Ability to pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation tests at orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for endoscopy procedures at both Church Street and Mary Black campuses
• Assist with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, EUS, EBUS, and related procedures
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation for endoscopy patients
• Label and document specimens accurately
• Start IVs and manage patient recovery in post-anesthesia care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response)
• Participate in on-call rotation, late stay, and weekend coverage as needed
• Maintain compliance with facility attendance and documentation policies
