Activities Assistant / Shuttle Driver

Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (additional hours available for events)
Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

The Reserve at First Colony is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant / Shuttle Driver to support our assisted living and memory care residents. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with seniors and creating meaningful daily experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and leading daily activities, events, and outings
  • Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships
  • Provide one-on-one engagement and companionship
  • Safely transport residents using a 12-passenger shuttle bus
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle
  • Support community events as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in activities, recreation, or senior living preferred
  • Experience operating a bus lift is a plus
  • Comfortable working closely with senior residents
