Desktop Service Technician II (Hiring Immediately)
Location: Fort Worth, TX with occasional coverage needed at our Lewisville, TX location.
Work Arrangement: Onsite – 5 days per week (remote applicants will not be considered).
We are a growing, customer-focused organization known for our reliability, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. Our success is driven by a dedicated team and a supportive work environment where employees are valued and empowered to succeed. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Desktop Service Technician II to join our IT team and play a key role in ensuring our technology systems operate smoothly and reliably.
What You will Do:
In this hands-on role, you will provide desktop support to end users across the organization — troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing, and configuring systems, and ensuring our team has the tools they need to do their best work. You will serve as the go-to resource for IT support questions, both remotely from our other locations and in person, while maintaining a professional, customer-first approach.
- Provide support to end-users via email, chat, phone, and in-person visits.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and test standard corporate applications on new and recycled hardware.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues to the component level and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Serve as an escalation point for Level I technicians and collaborate with other IT departments to resolve complex issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance, install system updates, and apply security patches.
- Manage user accounts and assist with hardware/software inventory tracking.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
- Train end-users on hardware and software usage and contribute to IT process improvement initiatives.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 2–4 years of professional experience in IT support or desktop services.
- Strong understanding of desktop hardware, operating systems, and corporate applications.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Experience working in a multi-computer environment with relevant tools and systems.
Why Join Us:
At Sager Electronics, we value our team members and strive to provide a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. Here is what you can expect:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance to keep you and your family healthy.
- 401(k)/Roth plan with matching, ensuring your financial future is secure.
- Healthcare Savings Accounts for added flexibility in managing medical expenses.
- Educational Assistance (Tuition Reimbursement) to support your ongoing learning and development.
- Continuous training opportunities throughout your employment, empowering you to grow both personally and professionally.
