What We Need: iHeartMedia is looking for an Employee Services Specialist to join our HR Employee Services Team. The Specialist contributes to basic core HR functions and supports various aspects of HR Operations, including recruiting and hiring processes, employee data hygiene through system audits, Tier 2 level support to managers and employees alike in resolving system related inquiries, and ensuring federal, state and local compliance requirements are implemented and enforced. What You'll Do:
- Handles sensitive and confidential employee issues.
- Acts as a resource for incoming calls and emails from management or employees and efficiently resolves issues utilizing our case management system.
- Reviews and analyzes audit reports to ensure employee data is accurately maintained in HRIS
- Educates end-users on HRIS self-service capabilities.
- Maintains basic knowledge and understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements affecting HR practices; stays current on federal and state employment law
- Ensures pre-hire and new hire onboarding activities are completed, including I-9 and E-Verify processing.
- Supports unemployment claims using a third-party systematic process.
- Receives and maintains employee personnel records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of workforce data.
- Demonstrates courteous, friendly, and efficient service to team members and internal clients.
- Seeks opportunities to automate and continuously improve business processes.
- Monitors transactional business process workflow and approvals progression
- Provide support, training, and direction to system users.
- Partner with HRIS to identify and resolve any technical issues impacting recruiting processes or data management.
- Self-motivated, including strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage changing requirements
- Acts with sense of urgency and drives issues through completion with a positive attitude

- Proficient with core Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, FCC, OFCCP Compliance, and reporting a plus
- BS / BA Degree preferred
- 2 years of previous HR experience or equivalent of combined education and experience
- Workday HCM experience preferred

- Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision
