We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of our Sage Intacct clients, ensuring their continued success and satisfaction. Your main objective will be to proactively manage client relationships, monitor their status, and act as their internal advocate to secure the resources they need to maximize their investment in Sage Intacct.
This position requires a blend of excellent communication skills, a foundational understanding of financial processes, and a passion for helping others succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of Sage Intacct clients. Serve as the trusted advisor and central point of contact for all client needs and inquiries.
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow accounts. Understand your clients' long-term business goals and position our solutions to help them achieve those goals.
Proactive Engagement: Regularly check on customer status, health, and satisfaction. Conduct proactive check-ins, business reviews, and health assessments to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
Needs Assessment & Advocacy: Regularly connect with clients to understand their evolving needs and challenges. Advocate internally for the resources required to support their success and fulfill their requests.
Resource Coordination: Identify and coordinate the allocation of internal resources (e.g., consultants, technical support, project managers) to address client requests for additional services, customizations, training, or technical assistance.
Adoption & Optimization: Monitor client adoption and utilization of Sage Intacct. Provide guidance and recommend best practices to ensure they are fully leveraging the platform's features to meet their evolving business needs.
Renewal & Expansion: Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for account expansion and ensure successful renewal of client contracts.
Problem Resolution: Triage and escalate customer issues to the appropriate internal teams, ensuring a timely and effective resolution.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Report on key customer success metrics and activities.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a customer success, account management, or client-facing role, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
Sage Intacct Knowledge: A solid understanding of the ERP systems and core financial accounting principles (e.g., AP, AR, GL, reporting) is a strong plus.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to listen to client needs, anticipate challenges, and proactively work towards solutions.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
Collaboration: A team player who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Travel: Ability to travel to client sites for on-site meetings, business reviews, and training sessions as needed.
