RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment with rotating weekends
• 36 guaranteed hours per week with schedule of three 12-hour shifts per 26-week assignments
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 4:1 working in overflow units for ED holds
• Float as needed according to facility floating policy
• Must have 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Experience required with telemetry monitoring and various drips
• Perform typical procedures per progressive care departments
• Document using Meditech system (experience preferred)
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket
• Maintain clean and healthy nails
• Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
