Job Description

As an OMD Operator, you will work closely with the engineering team to support, maintain, and optimize advanced robotics and automated production equipment. You will be assigned a section containing multiple machines and be responsible for ensuring reliable equipment performance and maintaining production quality standards through hands-on support and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Train and work directly with the engineering team to support production processes.
• Own and maintain an assigned section that includes multiple machines and systems.
• Operate and maintain advanced robotics and automated machinery.
• Perform daily equipment checks using a startup checklist to ensure operational readiness.
• Conduct equipment calibration and minor hardware repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, including:

Qualifications and Requirements

• Vocational course graduate or associate degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly processes and equipment.
• Preferred: 3 years of equipment technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with
• Soldering techniques
  Microscopes
  Electro-mechanical tools
  Measurement devices
• Familiarity with robotics, automation, and troubleshooting tools.

The base pay range for this position is $14.50 – $22.00 an hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
