Position Overview

Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced Journeyman-level Plumber for a commercial construction project with Charlotte ISD in Charlotte, Texas.

This position will perform commercial plumbing installation, repair, rough-in, and finish work according to project drawings, applicable plumbing codes, specifications, and site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing layouts

• Install domestic water, sanitary, waste, and vent piping systems

• Measure, cut, thread, join, and support pipe and fittings

• Perform commercial plumbing rough-in and top-out

• Install plumbing fixtures and complete trim-out work

• Modify and repair existing plumbing systems as required

• Inspect and test completed systems

• Identify and correct leaks, installation issues, and deficiencies

• Coordinate work with project supervision and other trades

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Follow project quality standards and site safety requirements

Requirements

• Commercial plumbing experience

• Journeyman-level plumbing skills appropriate for commercial construction

• Ability to read blueprints, plans, specifications, and layout information

• Experience with commercial water, waste, sanitary, and vent systems

• Proficient with standard plumbing tools and equipment

• Ability to perform rough-in, top-out, fixture installation, and trim work

• Reliable attendance and transportation

• Ability to meet all project onboarding and site requirements

Pay

Standard Charlotte ISD Assignment: $27.00/hour

Qualifying Prevailing-Wage/Scale Work: Up to $48.00/hour when assigned to covered work

Prevailing-wage/scale rates apply only when working on assignments specifically covered by the applicable wage determination.
