Procurement Specialist

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Hybrid Entry-Level Procurement Specialist. This role focuses on supporting purchasing activities, coordinating with vendors, managing purchase orders, monitoring inventory needs, and ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing requirements

• Compare vendor pricing and sourcing options
• Assist with contract administration and vendor onboarding

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, administration, customer service, logistics, or related roles
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid work environment
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
