CDL A Laborer

Job description:

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklifts.
• Load and unload materials or equipment onto trucks.
• Transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role (Manual Experience a plus).
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for truck driving
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Work Location: In person

Experience:

• CDL A: 1 year (Preferred).
• Construction: 1 year (Preferred).
• Manual transmission: 1 year (Preferred).

License/Certification:

• Texas Drivers License CDL A (Preferred).

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred).
• Night Shift (Preferred).
• Overnight Shift (Preferred).

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred).
