About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: None required, ACLS recommended Must-Have: - Experience in ICU or PACU Description: The position requires the candidate to be available for one weekend and one night shift each week. The unit has 26 beds, and staffing varies. During day shifts, there is a charge nurse and usually a float nurse. Night shifts consist of 2 PACU nurses on call. Patient ratios are 1:2. The unit utilizes EMR technology for documentation. Candidates should have experience with a variety of surgical procedures, including general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and vascular. Ideal candidates are easygoing and pleasant. No certifications are required, but ACLS certification is preferred. This unit is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The staff is highly skilled and supportive.
