QC Technician with CDL

Southwest International Trucks , a locally owned and operated leader in commercial vehicle sales and service for over 40 years, is seeking an experienced QC Technician with a Class A or B CDL and manual transmission endorsement to join our team in McKinney, Texas. As one of International's largest dealership groups, Southwest International is committed to delivering exceptional transportation services while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. The QC Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of our commercial vehicles through thorough inspections and road testing. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, and the opportunity to be home every night.

Responsibilities

• Conduct road tests and inspections of trucks and buses following repairs to verify safety and performance standards.
• Document inspection results, noting any defects, non-conformances, or maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve quality concerns and confirm completed repairs.
• Perform work in shop, yard, and on-road environments as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with manual transmission endorsement
• At least 3 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck industry
• Experience operating and inspecting trucks and buses with manual transmissions
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities

Compensation

$21+/hr., depending on experience
