Body Shop Body Technician/ Shop Helper (Entry Level)

Compensation: $20+/hr. + full benefits

Position Overview

Southwest International Trucks is hiring a Non-experienced Body Shop Body Technician to join our Fort Worth team. The Body Shop Body Technician/ Shop Helper will have a full-time schedule , with access to full benefits and company incentives.

No Experience Required – we will train you to repair and restore trucks that have sustained damage, bringing them back to their original condition post-accident. These tasks include

• Sanding, filling, and priming.
• Measure and align vehicle frames.
• Repair unibody structural damage
• Replace and repair body panels
• Replace damaged wiring harnesses, or reinstall harnesses after body repair
• Remove and reinstall interiors
• Dry box repairs
• Reefer box repairs
• FRP repairs on Box trucks
• Maintains safe work environment by adhering to work standards and practices
• Complete daily paperwork
• Help with keeping the shop clean
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Body Shop Requirements for the position:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Good verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Ability to problem sole in an efficient and effective manner
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, CDL a plus
• Pass a background check and drug screening
