Registered Dental Assistant – Lake Cities Dental (Colleyville, TX)

Our modern, patient-centered private dental office in Colleyville, TX is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality dentistry in a warm, professional environment where both patients and team members feel valued.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent chairside manner, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced private practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of general and restorative procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain strict infection control standards.
• Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays).
• Manage instruments, materials, and sterilization protocols.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and post-operative instructions.
• Chart accurately and assist with clinical documentation.
• Support smooth patient flow and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (required).
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in a private dental practice preferred.
• Proficiency with digital X-rays and dental software (CurveHero experience a plus, but we are willing to train).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to patient care.

Schedule:

• Full-time (preferred) or part-time opportunity available
• Monday–Thursday 7am - 3pm
• Every other Friday 7am - 12pm

She graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M College of Dentistry) in 1994 and opened Lake Cities Dental in May 2000. Dedicated to providing top-notch care, Dr. Moore has never stopped learning. In 2012, she pursued advanced training in orthodontics and was recognized by the American Orthodontic Society for completing the necessary education to offer orthodontic treatment. She has also completed over 120 hours of continuing education in implant planning and placement, expanding the services she offers to better serve her patients’ needs.
