TX Security Operations Center - Operator (2nd shift - 2pm-11pm)

Description of Position:

The operator works within a team environment and is required to remotely observe stores to identify theft and fraud. Operators observe cameras at length while protecting the Company’s assets. By proactively identifying theft and fraud situations, the Operator maintains a strong Loss Prevention culture in the store to reduce losses and liabilities. This position is an on-site role that will work out of our Distribution Center facility located in Jacksonville, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Observe stores via CCTV to identify theft and build external cases for prosecution
2. Actively communicate with stores and Field Loss Prevention to address current theft and fraud activity
3. Communicate theft and fraud incidents to the appropriate law enforcement agencies
4. Record cases in APIS Case Management System
5. Communicate all concerns regarding CCTV/Systems to SOC Manager or LP Technology Coordinator
6. Review exception reports and observes associates’ activity to identify potential acts of fraud or theft
7. Complete all other tasks assigned by supervisor

Requirements

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Customer service skills and retail experience a plus
3. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Must be a strong multi-tasker, and not easily distracted when focused on a task
5. Must demonstrate a sound decision-making and judgement; must be able to remain calm in stressful or critical situations
6. Fluent in English; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Physical Requirements:

This position involves a variety of physical activities including talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Visual acuity is required for observing video and analyzing records.
