Customer Service Representative

Meador an Openwork Company is currently seeking a dependable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a growing safety equipment supplier in Baytown, TX . This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.


Job Description:
Customer Service Representative must possess a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures associated with customer service, supply, storage, and distribution functions within a fast-
paced and occasional stressful environment.


Requirements:
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Higher education or equivalent work experience in administrative logistics industry.
• Must have strong organization skills, assertive, flexible, and customer service oriented.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Mathematical skills: the ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Office environment with frequent visits to the warehouse (extreme weather conditions might be
applicable).
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Perform various tasks in assistance or in support of the organization.
• Be willing to work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends
and/or holidays according to the needs of the business.
• Punctuality is a must; be on time and ready to work at the start of shift.
• Must possess the skills to provide quality customer service including the ability to deal with a variety
of people in a professional, courteous manner within diversified situations.
• Ability to perform assigned work tasks with little or no supervision.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook. Must be able to learn the systems required for the CSR Department.
• File completed files helping maintain archived files.
• Perform invoicing by following tariffs and conditions determined in the rate agreements.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with your assigned customers.
• Take a proactive approach regarding Customers’ needs rather than a reactive approach.
• Must be able to problem solve on situations when they arise.
• Communication is key to continued success, and as a CSR, you must be willing to contact your assigned Customers during and after normal working hours.


Location : Baytown, TX
Schedule : 8am-5pm
Pay : $17/hour
