We are currently seeking a highly experienced, dedicated and passionate Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to handle complex family law cases involving divorce, child custody, spousal support and related matters. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Texas Family Code, excellent legal writing skills, and exceptional mediation preparation and advocacy abilities. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of family law cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct in-depth discovery, research, and preparation of legal documents.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and more.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating passionately on their behalf.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of billable hours and client communications.
- Develop and implement effective case strategies in line with the firm's high standards of service.
- Stay updated on changes and developments in family law and the Texas Family Code.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law, with a strong focus on divorce, child custody, and spousal support cases.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Texas Family Code and its application in family law cases.
- Proven experience in discovery management and legal document preparation.
- Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
- Strong mediation skills, with experience in mediation preparation and advocacy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide empathetic, personalized service.
- Proficient in billing and timekeeping to ensure accurate and timely client invoicing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex cases with precision and discretion.
- Demonstrated commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in the legal industry.
