Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fitting, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. This position involves working on construction sites, fabricating and assembling metal components, and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the welding process.

Responsibilities

Operate welding equipment to weld and fit metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
Assemble and fabricate metal structures using various welding techniques.
Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions during fabrication.
Perform machining tasks as needed to prepare materials for assembly.
Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Operate cranes or other lifting equipment as required for material handling.
Bilingual a plus.
Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fitting, with proficiency in various welding techniques.
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics and blueprints.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience operating cranes or similar equipment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment on construction sites.
Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.
