We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team to support our warehouse operations. Continue reading if this role peaks your interest!
The Operations Manager is responsible for management of warehouse operations- receiving, production planning, order fulfillment, shipping and other warehouse departments, proposes and/or implements strategies to maximize capacity and efficiency and maintain competitive advantage through the continuous improvement of service center. Ensures efficiency, speed, and quality of work produced. Make decisions that have a direct impact on profitability, employee, and customer satisfaction. Enforces safety and security measures.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct the activities of the Advanced-online production management team and their direct reports. Monitor workflows and make hourly adjustments as necessary to maximize output and achieve daily goals for same.
- Manage the tracking and distribution of materials to ensure production inventory is stocked and available.
- Coordinate staffing and equipment needs that provide maximum order performance and maximum asset and labor utilization.
- Achieve budget requirements and forecast targets for production output, quality, distribution costs, and order turn times. Monitor UPHs by department and address shortfalls as appropriate
- Established and monitors quality assurance
- Achieve and maintain a safe work environment that meets and exceeds company guidelines and government regulations such as OSHA
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Advanced Excel experience
- 5+ years of experience managing a p&l
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and logistics management
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a logistics or warehouse environment in a leadership capacity
- Bilingual English and Spanish
