Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse leader with strong experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, staff supervision, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse activity, ensure accurate product movement, lead and develop warehouse team members, and support a safe, organized, and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and overall product flow.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, performance management, coaching, and day-to-day leadership.
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock monitoring, space utilization, discrepancy resolution, and warehouse management system activity.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA guidelines, company safety policies, equipment procedures, and warehouse operating standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, equipment utilization, cost control, reporting, and overall warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring in good working condition.
- Manage warehouse budget, track costs, and implement cost-savings strategies.
- Generate and review reports concerning inventory levels, shipment accuracy, and team performance. Identify trends/issues to discuss with Leadership.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $52,000 to $60,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.

Additional Skills

Required Qualifications and Skills

- 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and supply chain processes.
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related business software.
- Strong understanding of OSHA guidelines, warehouse safety practices, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures or conditions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, manage priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced operation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting budget management, cost control, process improvement, and warehouse productivity initiatives.
- Experience generating and presenting warehouse operations reports to leadership.
