Position Overview :
As a Senior Accountant , you will be responsible for managing core accounting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. You will play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, and process improvement. This position works closely with the Controller, FP&A Director, and the broader accounting team.

THE POSITION:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the company’s financial procedures, records, and statements for compliance with laws and regulations. Duties may include assuming a leadership role to guide accounting personnel in daily tasks, reviewing financial data to make forecast decisions and communicating with company Executives about financial strategies. This includes being knowledgeable in areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general posting rules, comfortable with accounting software (we use Service Titan and Intact-Sage). We are seeking a vigorous, sharp, and motivated team leader, the leader of this group would need to possess the skillset to empower their team. What You’ll Do:

• Record and post journal entries accurately and on time

• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

• Prepare and present financial reports

• Review and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls

• Perform monthly and annual close activities

• Provide technical accounting support for departments

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Ensure full compliance with GAAP standards

• Partner with the Controller and FP&A Director to improve financial processes

• Support process efficiency and cost-saving initiatives

• Identify and correct discrepancies or inefficiencies in financial records

​You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA (preferred)

• Strong understanding of GAAP and core financial metrics (e.g., Gross Margin, Operating Expenses, Balance Sheet ratios)

• Proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and MS Office Suite
• 5 + years of progressive accounting experience (required)
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation
