Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and analyze comprehensive medical histories and physical data to inform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Lead complete physical examinations and document findings with precision and clarity.
- Collaborate strategically with providers to manage both acute and long-term patient medical needs, implementing data-driven methodologies.
- Order and interpret cutting-edge laboratory and diagnostic procedures to forge a cohesive therapeutic plan.
- Utilize preventative principles to synthesize data, crafting innovative diagnosis and treatment strategies.
- Administer medications, injections, and perform minor surgical interventions with expertise.
- Conduct patient interviews and offer forward-thinking health and illness prevention advice, integrating technology-driven resources.
- Recommend community resources, aligning patient and family needs with transformative healthcare solutions.
- Educate patients and families on medication and treatment plans, emphasizing digital engagement and information accessibility.
- Maintain, review, and optimize patient records and charts, ensuring accurate and efficient data management.
- Manage and consult on medical and surgical emergencies with agility and precision.
- Ensure continuity of care through proactive monitoring and follow-up between visits.
- Possess and continually update knowledge on ICD9, CPT, and HCPCS coding, embracing training for ongoing improvement.
- Engage in required meetings and contribute to committees and pilot projects with an eye towards innovation.
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines, maintaining strict confidentiality and utilizing communication skills effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Doctorate with current licensure in the state of Texas.
- Experience in hospital and/or clinic settings, with a preference for at least three years of practice.
- Expertise in high-risk pregnancy and minimally invasive gynecological procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a focus on prioritization and agile methodologies.
