Test Engineer
Indianapolis, IN/Arlington, VA/Kansas City
A meticulous and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst who loves writing automated testing solutions and is never fully satisfied with a job well done. College education is excellent, and certifications look cool on a resume, but you will qualify because of your love for delivering high-quality software, hands-on experience with manual testing, experience with testing automation, and your drive to advance technology through consistent personal and team knowledge growth. You will report to the Senior Automation Engineer and work closely with the existing QA team, as well as the software development and operations and maintenance (O&M) teams. Your mission is to safeguard the quality of our software products by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases. You will play a crucial role in identifying defects, verifying fixes, and ensuring our solutions exceed customer expectations.
- Testing experience
- Proven experience creating, executing, and maintaining detailed test cases and test plans.
- Ability to identify edge cases and document them clearly.
- Familiarity with regression, function, and exploratory testing methods.
- Strong QA candidates without automation experience are not acceptable for this role.
- Test Automation experience a must
- Experience with Selenium-based automation tools is required; familiarity with Cucumber or Leapwork is a strong plus.
- Ability to maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts.
- SDLC and Software Processes
- Agile/Scrum a plus
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- QA interest / enthusiasm /experience
- Created Test Cases, Test Plans
- Debug / troubleshoot issues that you found (deep dive)
- Bug reporting / triage / prioritization
- Responsible for guiding quality on production release
