Industrial Machinery Maintenance Mechanic

About the Role

Because our operations are expanding quickly, we’re welcoming a skilled Industrial Machinery Maintenance Mechanic to keep our production equipment running safely and reliably. You’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative care across a range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building systems.

A Day in the Life

Start your day reviewing maintenance logs and prioritizing work orders. You’ll move from a PLC-controlled line that needs a quick code tweak, to a pneumatic actuator that requires a seal replacement, to updating an SOP so the next shift has clear guidance. Throughout the day, you’ll partner with Production Associates and Management, document all work performed, secure tools, and keep your area spotless—all while following safety procedures and mentoring others as needed.

Pay & Schedule

• Compensation: $28–$38 per hour (depending on experience)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; hours may vary

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and facility systems
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Create, update, and follow SOPs and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
• Program and adjust PLCs for equipment performance and reliability
• Document daily maintenance and repair activities in logs/CMMS
• Collaborate clearly with Production Associates and Management
• Manage, secure, and care for tools and spare parts; order inventory as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Provide training when requested; take on other duties as assigned
• Adhere to all safety procedures and standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Background in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, welding, piping systems, PLC programming
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical school training a plus
• Manual dexterity to operate machinery and computers
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Regular, consistent attendance for scheduled shifts

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Typical manufacturing environment
• Frequent lifting of materials up to 30 lbs
• Use of PPE such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and work boots while operating machinery and tools
