Fabricator/Welder

American Energy Innovations is a pioneering design, engineering, and assembly firm for machinery and equipment used in the Oil & Gas industry. Our innovative technology provides software and mechanical solutions that increase fueling efficiency for hydraulic fracturing and allows for an increased efficiency in communication.

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Springtown, TX. This position is in a "Job Shop" environment and requires proficient knowledge of structural and pipe fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.

· Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics

· Proficiency in GMAW & FCAW processes (welding test required), AWS D1.1, D1.2, ASME

· Occasional SMAW welding

· Sufficient experience with fabrication equipment (bandsaws, grinders, ironworkers, welding machines, plasma cutter, etc.)

· Handle sheet metal for cutting, welding, and assembling

· Use overhead crane to position and move steel and equipment

· Knowledge of fitting & layout

· Ability to perform work efficiently and accurately

· Ability to work well with others and perform timely work with little supervision

· Ability to regularly perform physical tasks and stand for hours at a time

· Other duties as assigned

· Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test at time of hire

Skills possessed by the ideal candidate for this role:

· Proficiency in GMAW & FCAW welding techniques

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and blueprints

· Competency in using measuring and fabrication equipment

· Experience working in structural fabrication and pipe shops is a plus

· Ability to assemble metal components accurately

The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 6 pm, 50 hours a week, in Springtown, TX. This position will be paid hourly, $20/hour-$30/hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits will be available after 60 days of employment (medical, dental, vision, and life) and a 401k after a year of service with a 4% company match.
