The following posting is a pipeline requisition, meant to accumulate candidates for 2025 Summer Internships. Qualified applicants will be contacted in concert with the approval and publication of identical, approved positions within HP, Inc.
This opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount). Interested candidates must be currently eligible to work in the US AND must not require work authorization sponsorship in the future. HP, Inc. will not provide any assistance or sign documentation in support of immigration sponsorship including Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT).

The Team:
HP’s Digital and Transformation organization (D&TO) is seeking an experienced Transformation Management Office (TMO) Intern.
We are looking for a results-driven, strategic analyst who can help facilitate clarity, collaboration, and high-quality execution on complex and fast-moving Digital projects, working effectively across organizational boundaries. You will work across the D&TO organization on key transformation initiatives to ensure the timely and optimal delivery of the initiatives, leading and managing certain initiatives as assigned. You will partner with business leaders to proactively identify new transformational opportunities and help develop business cases. You will support Executive Communications covering Digital Transformation progress.Skill Focus Areas:
Software Developer:
- Skill Areas: Java, Software Development Lifecycle, SCRUM, Cyber Security, Pen Test, Git, GitHub, AI Large Language Model (LLM) training and fine-tuning
Website Designer:
- Skill Areas: Website design and build, application of API's in website, usage of AI to track metrics from website, provide insights from metrics, marketing plans.
Cyber Security Analyst:
- Skills Areas: Python, JavaScript, SQL, Understanding security principles: encryption, authentication, authorization, and access control, Linux, Windows, Network protocols.
Data Scientist:
- Skill Areas : Python, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, Bayesian Statistics,
Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work with the Digital and Transformation team to
- Developing code source that the API Management Platform will use
- Helping the documentation that our internal software community will use
- Supporting software testing activities
- Brainstorming new ways to improve our agility and processes
- Brainstorming new product ideas
Education and Experience Required (Objective Minimum Qualifications)
• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and graduating with a bachelor degree between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2026, and not require sponsorship in the future.
Preferred Majors:
• Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information technology, Data Science, or a related technical field.

The pay range for this position is $32.55 to $36.75 per hour (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
