Job Title: Talent Acquisition SpecialistLocation: Austin, TX (remote position with some travel to Austin)
Pay Range: $42-48/hr

Brilliant Financial Staffinghas been engaged in the search for a Talent Acquisition Specialist for one of our clients in the software/IT space, located in Austin, TX. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a remote role, with some expected travel to Austin on a monthly basis. The TA specialist will be brought in on a contract basis for a period of 6 months. Qualified candidates will be considered immediately and begin the interview process.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements and talent strategy.
- Own the recruitment lifecycle for senior/critical requisitions: job description creation, sourcing (active + passive), screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding hand-off.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, networks, events, referrals, partner agencies) to attract high-quality talent.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and future roles.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies, legal/regulatory requirements, and internal systems (ATS, HRIS).
- 5-10+ years of experience in talent acquisition (corporate or agency) with a strong record of recruiting Director and C-Suite level roles
- Proven ability to source, engage and hire passive candidates across technical and non-technical functions.
- Excellent stakeholder management & influencing skills — able to partner with senior leaders and hiring managers.
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with recruiting metrics, dashboards and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with recruiting tools and ATS systems (LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse or similar).
- Good understanding of market/industry talent trends, especially for technology/SaaS companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
