Are you an experienced CNC Vertical Turning Machinist looking for an exciting new challenge? We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry, seeking a seasoned professional to join our team for the 2nd shift. This is a permanent role where you will be working with some of the most advanced machinery in the industry, including DMG and Dmg Mori Seiki. Responsibilities:

As a CNC Vertical Turning Machinist, you will be responsible for:

1. Operating and maintaining CNC Vertical Turning machines, specifically DMG and Dmg Mori Seiki, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
2. Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings to accurately manufacture parts.
3. Applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.
4. Using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to inspect and verify the dimensions of parts.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the machinery and the manufacturing process.
6. Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
7. Complying with all safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
8. Continually improving processes and techniques for efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Vertical Turning Machinist in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in operating and maintaining DMG and Dmg Mori Seiki machines.
3. Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
4. Expertise in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
5. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
8. A commitment to safety, with knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
