Are you passionate about events and looking to kickstart your career in the exciting world of event management? We are seeking an Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be immersed in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, ranging from corporate meetings to large-scale festivals.
Salary Range: $45600- $55600 per year , based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events including corporate meetings, trade shows, and private parties.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of events are covered.
- Help prepare event materials, including invitations, programs, and informational packets.
- Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring all equipment is in place and functioning as expected.
- Provide on-site support during events, assisting with registration, attendee inquiries, and logistical issues.
- Maintain a detailed event calendar and keep track of deadlines and deliverables.
- Compile post-event reports, including attendee feedback and final budgets.
Qualifications
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with various event management tools.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
