Community Research Liaison - School of Public Health (Austin)

We are hiring a Community Research Liaison (casual up to 19.5 hrs/week) to join UTHealth Houston School of Public Health in Austin, Tx. In this role you will interview research subjects primarily in the field and record data for various projects. Familiarity with qualitative analysis process and Dedoose software is preferred.

Position Summary:

The Community/ Research Liaison interviews research subjects, primarily in the field. Records data for various projects.

Position Key Accountabilities:

• Enters and codes information for research projects for entry into the database.
• Gathers data for study-related needs.
• Handles administrative details, including logging personal time and effort reports and submitting mileage reports.
• May utilize equipment as trained by the project manager or principal to obtain the required information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

• Familiarity with qualitative analysis process and Dedoose software, preferred.

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Minimum Experience:

• None

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
