We’re partnering with a high-growth, founder-led organization seeking a Senior Accountant who wants more than a steady-eddy role. This is a newly created position driven by expansion, with a defined path to Accounting Manager in 12–24 months based on performance.

You’ll work directly with senior leadership, gain exposure to strategic decision-making, and play a key role in strengthening the accounting function as the company scales.

What You’ll Do

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will:

• Lead key components of the monthly close process (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations)
• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements and internal management reports
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger across multiple entities
• Ensure GAAP compliance and support a strong internal control environment
• Handle revenue recognition, expense accruals, and partnership accounting activities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Partner with leadership to deliver actionable financial insights
• Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during year-end audits and filings

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
• 5–10 years of experience across public accounting and/or corporate environments
• Strong foundation in GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting
• Experience with multi-entity and/or partnership accounting
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, data analysis)
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, D365, or similar)
• Proven ability to own processes, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with leadership
