Responsibilities

• Set up and operate asphalt paving equipment to ensure smooth, consistent, and properly aligned pavement laydown.
• Perform light mechanical adjustments and assist with minor repairs on assigned equipment as needed.
• Check all fluid levels at the start of each day, monitor gauges and equipment operation throughout the shift, and clean the paver at the end of the day.
• Track and record the amount of asphalt being laid during operations.
• Adhere to all safety practices and company procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the paving crew and project goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with asphalt on paving crews and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work days, nights, or weekends as required by project schedules.
• Ability to work in extreme heat or cold weather conditions.
• Maintain a strong safety record, positive behavior, and reliable attendance.
• Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

• Comfortable working outdoors in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

• Capable of climbing on and off heavy equipment safely.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and boots.

• Traveling within Oklahoma and North Texas is required. Per diem will be provided for jobs outside the hired working area.
