Supplier Quality Engineer Senior - Grand Prairie, TX
Description: You will be the Supplier Quality Engineer Senior for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team. As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and their products, developing and implementing effective quality control processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive supplier performance. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: - Developing and implementing supplier quality control processes
- Conducting audits and assessments to ensure supplier compliance
- Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
- Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Working with internal stakeholders to drive supplier quality initiatives
- Participate in supplier failure diagnoses, Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and drawing/process reviews to ensure design assurance.
- Act as the technical liaison for quality engineering matters, interfacing daily with suppliers, program management, and customers. Why Join Us

This position is in Dallas. > Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance Ability to travel 25% of the time and ability to work a flexible schedule (after hours or weekends when needed) Must be able to identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective Corrective Action Capable of performing Root Cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems Experience with Quality systems such AS9100 / ISO9001 and First Article Inspections per AS9102 Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board) Understanding of engineering drawings requirements mechanical and electrical inspection methods
Desired Skills:
A basic understanding of the MFC SAP / ERP and P2P business systems ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt) Strong familiarity with Production Operations Experience with source inspection and surveillance activities at suppliers Demonstrated Leadership and Customer Relationship Management skills Individual should be a self-starter who can work autonomously with minimal direction Understanding of Geometric, Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T) Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and to support all supplier quality field engineering activities

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
