Backend Developer (Remote)

## About the Role
We are looking for a skilled **Backend Developer** to build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend systems and APIs. You'll work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver reliable and high-performance applications. **We are currently not accepting applications from Pakistan, India and Africa**
## Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
* Build scalable, secure, and maintainable server-side applications.
* Optimize databases and application performance.
* Integrate third-party APIs and cloud services.
* Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
* Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
## Required Skills
* Strong experience with at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or C#/.NET).
* Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
* Experience designing REST APIs.
* Knowledge of authentication (JWT, OAuth).
* Familiarity with Docker and Git.
* Experience working with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
* Understanding of software architecture and security best practices.
