Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A professional opening for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is available in an elementary school setting located in Cedar Park, TX. This contract position spans the upcoming school year, providing approximately 35 hours per week. Opportunities extend across K-12 with multiple placements available, emphasizing the need for bilingual professionals fluent in English and Spanish.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Experience working within school or healthcare environments preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Support speech assessments and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
