Commercial Sales Intern

What You Will Do:

• Work on strategic projects with direct impact to customer or district:
  
  • Utilize ChampionX data management systems to optimize current chemical programs.
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • Meet ChampionX customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory.
  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer complaints, escalating as required.
  • Learn and understand ChampionX innovations and technology to understand the broader business.
  • Possible travel within assigned sales territory with mentor.
• Present internship project findings to a panel of leaders.

Position Details:

• May require up to 50% off-site travel to customer sites with supervision.
• Internship could be located in one of the following areas: Midland, TX or Hobbs, NM.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an ABET accredited educational program.
• Majors: Chemical Engineering, Business, Data Science or Agriculture Management, or other majors.
• Must be a junior or senior with at least one semester left before graduation.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Immigration sponsorship not offered for this position.

Physical Demands:

• Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
• Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
