Level II Non Destructive Inspector

Description: This occupation requires the inspection of completed flat and contoured bonded panels and composite/laminate details by the use of non-destructive methods as afforded by ultrasonic and other comparable evaluation equipment and processes to verify structural integrity. Performs visual and/or dimensional inspection of welded or shot-peened parts/assemblies and in-process inspection of welding operations to assure blueprint compliance and correct processing.
Basic Qualifications:
Must meet level II certified able in 3 out of 5 nondestructive testing disciplines.
Desired Skills:
Experience with CR Radiography

NDI level II certified for Dye Penetrate, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic or Radiography.

Experience with automated inspection equipment

Experience in Weld inspection

Texas State Radiography Certified

Certified Weld Inspector

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
